CEW (UK) Beauty Awards Looking Good Online
The Election Trust Hosts Cosmetic Executive Women Awards eVote.
Seattle, WA (PRWEB) April 8, 2006 -- Cosmetic Executive Women of the United Kingdom turned to Seattle-based The ElectionTRUST to provide secure online eBalloting for that association’s first ever annual Beauty Awards.
The 2006 Beauty Awards were voted on by 265 of CEW (UK)’s 500 members, all industry professionals and experts in the field of beauty. On their eBallot each voter could choose from over 100 products competing in 11 categories including skincare, body care, sun care, hair care, makeup, men and women fragrances as well as men’s grooming.
Gaelle Ranchon, CEW (UK)’s Marketing and Events Manager, was satisfied with the choice to go with eVoting. “By offering an electronic ballot we were able to display a photo and text description for each of the Beauty Awards entries enabling members to do a side-by-side comparison of products before making their choice.” Ms. Ranchon added, “We were even able to ‘tag’ the official eBallot with a cross-promotion tie-in coordinated by handbag.com, one of our sponsors. We look forward to working with The Election Trust team again next year.”
John Bodin, Managing Partner of The Election Trust is looking forward to 2007 as well. “While we service all types of secure eVoting scenarios we are particularly excited to bring awards balloting online.” Mr. Bodin concluded, “CEW (UK) is blazing that trail.”
