Kittery, ME (PRWEB) April 10, 2006
GreenPages, Inc., a leading provider of IT products and services to the small- and mid-sized enterprise market, announced today the acquisition of TENCorp, the Technology Execution Network of Needham, MA. The new GreenPages will increase its vertical market reach by the addition of TENCorp’s traditional markets of state and local government and education.
The acquisition will also provide GreenPages with deeper technical resources and a broader scope of solutions, including the addition of an ISO9001:2000 Custom Configuration Center, enhanced managed service offerings, a field service organization of engineers and technicians with a wide breadth of certifications, and a solutions portfolio which includes storage, data protection, cross-platform integration, telephony, and multi-media.
GreenPages customers will benefit from increased field service engineering and support staff, augmented solutions engineering capabilities and the addition of a network monitoring center. TENCorp’s current customers will benefit from the addition of GreenPage’s nationwide reach, strong technical competencies in storage, data management, security, infrastructure, server virtualization and excellent technology procurement and lifecycle management capabilities.
The combined organization will continue to deliver solution-based technology, utilizing a ‘high value’ sales strategy that integrates hardware, software and services. “By focusing on our customers’ needs with a critical eye towards technologies that make sense, we will build on our companies' separate successes to deliver technically-sound and cost-effective solutions that extend our current relationships,” explained GreenPages CEO and President, Ron Dupler.
"This merger makes tremendous sense for our customers, employees and shareholders,” continued Mr. Dupler. “We are bringing together two successful companies with highly complementary visions of how to deliver technology solutions to the small and mid-sized enterprise market."
TENCorp President Michael Healey commented, "We are excited to be joining GreenPages. They bring a new set of logistics, project management, and engineering skills to the team. We can now offer a broader portfolio of products and services to our customers."
The acquisition has been approved by the Boards of Directors for both companies. GreenPages and TENCorp will combine forces via an operational merger to be executed over the second and third quarters of this year. The company will continue to operate under the GreenPages name with corporate headquarters located in Kittery, ME. Operations will continue at TENCorp's Massachusetts and Rhode Island facilities. Ron Dupler will remain President and CEO of GreenPages and Michael Healey will become GreenPages’ Chief Technology Officer.
With the acquisition completed, GreenPages now has approximately 135 employees and $100 million in annual sales. Both companies are privately held, and the terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.
