Direct mail postcard marketing company shows off their email skills in national competition.

The famous MarketingSherpa Email Awards are back and in full force. Among those nominated to win the coveted gold and silver awards is PostcardMania, the Postcard Marketing Experts. Already the creator of an award-winning website, their color-grabbing, informative e-newsletter in the “Opt-in” category was nominated for an award. Winners will be announced at the Gala Awards Ceremony that takes place April 20th at 7pm in Chicago at House of Blues. More than 300 marketers are expected to attend the ceremony.

MarketingSherpa.com is well-known for its practical news and case studies for business-to-business advertisers and marketers on reaching medium-large businesses effectively online. MarketingSherpa’s Email Awards 2006 are judged by MarketingSherpa’s own reporters and researchers. Their judges look for certain factors in the email awards entries such as: results data; subject line; copy; layout and graphics and creativity just to name a few.

Annoyingly, most ad and marketing awards out there focus purely on “sexy” mass campaigns that target consumers. The MarketingSherpa Email Awards were started to allow for business-to-business marketers to gain true recognition.

In addition to the Gala Awards Ceremony, MarketingSherpa will publish a special issue highlighting the Awards Winners. This will be sent to their 173,000 readers and posted online, including creative samples, for the whole world to see.
