(PRWEB) April 10, 2006 -- DssW today announced the launch of Sleep Monitor 2.1.1 for Mac OS X. This new version of Sleep Monitor is a Universal Binary, helping users audit energy use on both Intel and PowerPC Macs.

Sleep Monitor gathers information over days, weeks, and months to build a complete picture of your Mac's energy use. Background monitors record information about battery levels, recharging rates, and periods of sleep, shut down, and use.

Sleep Monitor 2.1.1 introduces Universal Binary support and fixes a few bugs. Bugs fixes and tweaks include:

- Spotlight support.
- Bypassed an installer bug.

With the launch of Sleep Monitor 2 as a Universal Binary, DssW has completed its transition to the Mac Intel platform.

Sleep Monitor is available today through the DssW web site http://www.dssw.co.uk/sleepmonitor/ for EUR20. System requirements are Mac OS X 10.3.9 (Panther), Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger), or later.

Sleep Monitor 2.1.1 is available free to all registered Sleep Monitor 2 customers.
