Local Company to Offer Prom Dresses to Area High School Seniors

Calypso Fashions a local Internet based retailer will be helping area seniors by offering free prom dresses.

New Orleans, LA (PRWEB) April 15, 2006 -- New Orleans and the Gulf Coast have had a very difficult year. Now that senior proms are fast approaching some of our high school seniors may still not have a prom dress to wear this year. Calypso Fashions, a local company, wants to help as many students as possible who cannot afford a dress this year, the opportunity to have one. The company recently sent out letters to area high schools offering assistance in helping these girls acquire a dress.

Calypso Fashions also would like to extend this offer to other parts of the country that have been affected by either hurricanes or, most recently, tornadoes. The company asks, however, that the requests for assistance come from the high schools. Calypso Fashions is a small company but will do what we can to help.

Our entire country has faced many hardships over the past months. The storms have taken a lot from citizens, Calypso Fashion wants to help prevent them from taking away this once in a lifetime event for graduating seniors.
