Tenerife Dreams for Top Spanish Band
New Euro pop sensation The Day Dreams begin the first leg of their Spanish tour with a sell out concert in Tenerife’s capital Santa Cruz.
(PRWEB) April 13, 2006 -- From their humble beginnings as a support act in low level holiday camps across the Costa del Sol, The Day Dreams are rapidly climbing the pop credibility ladder to become a musical force to be reckoned with.
Only a few short years ago this five piece band – Johnny Bert: vocals, Shaun Paige: guitar, Klaus Helsing: keyboards, Miguel Romero: bass and Charlie Mayo: drums – were trawling the cheap bars and clubs in the south of Spain looking for gigs to pay the next month’s rent. Now after a chart topping single, “Luicid Nights”, and a well received album, “Dormant Moods,” it looks like their luck is changing with a seventy date Spanish tour that is already promising to be a sell out success.
An excited Johnny Bert spoke form the band’s rehearsal studio in Madrid: “we’re really looking forward to this summer. Everything has happened so quickly since the “Lucid Nights” single brought our album into the public’s consciousness. All the positive energy around us has inspired a whole load of new songs and we’ll be showcasing them as part of the live show. We’ve got a big following in Spain and we can’t wait to get out there and meet the fans”.
