Orange County Summer Camps

Tracey Abbott DiMiceli, the creator of musical theater and fitness camps, has combined her experiences as a musical theater director and fitness camp leader to create a unique experience for campers. Each fun filled session campers rehearse a musical to be performed at the end of the week for family and friends. Rehearsals are broken up by all kinds of fun indoor sports including nerf-ball, obstacle courses and silly relays.

Show Descriptions

Greased Lightning - Child friendly version of the hit musical with Sandy and Danny, the Pink Ladies and T Birds exploring life in the fifties and friendships.

Orphan Annie - Annie and her friends join her on her quest to fin her real parents while trying to avoid the evil but silly Miss Hannigan.

Next - A hilarious look into the world of Hollywood. Who's going to be the next big movie star with a cast of funny characters including Jack Back, Hillary Fluff and more.

The Wiz - A modernized version of the classic, "The Wizard of Oz". Join Dorothy and her posse, Scarecrow, Tin-man & Lion on a journy to Oz.

Our High School Musical – This year’s smash hit. Troy and Gabrielle find a long lasting friendship by overcoming high school drama all around them. They show the kids including Sharpay that it doesn't matter what group you in, they can all be friends and follow their dreams.

The CSS program

Mornings begin with drop off between 8:30 – 9am for parents who need to get to work. A complementary continental breakfast is served at that time for kids on the fun. At 9 the fun begins. Warm ups and some camp spirit including ice breakers and songs. Next rehearsals either in song/dance or script. Lunch break is at 12:00 every day. After lunch, campers will participate in either arts & crafts or a fitness games for prizes. The day will end at 3 p.m. with theater games and rehearsals for the end of session show.

The Center Stage Studio is the Mercedes Benz of Musical Theater Fitness Camps. Tracey says, "I never thought it would catch on like this, I see other studios now running my program".

The Camp Director

Tracey Abbott DiMiceli is the camp director and founder of Center Stage studio. Tracey has been teaching musical theater for over 10 years and has been camp director at some of the most prestigious summer camps in the country including "Fitness by the Sea" a celebrity hot spot for summer camps in Malibu California. It was her experience on the sand with fitness and her Musical theater teaching that gave her the idea of Musical Theater and fitness camp.

15% off more than one week enrollment for summer
