Pay It Forward Baby – How One Mom Is Helping Hundreds

In search of a way to help her family, this mom joined forces with moms across the globe impacting the lives of hundreds through her online business.

Heather Ledeboer did not initially intend to improve the lives of hundreds of women. However, since her business began just two years ago, she has inspired and impacted moms all over the globe. Motivated to start her venture by a desire to be a stay-at-home mom, Ledeboer created Mom4Life.com, a website that serves to support not only her family but also a growing number of moms across the country.

The Mom 4 Life product line is focused primarily on items that help to simplify the journey of motherhood; items that you will be hard pressed to find in the mass market. 80% of these products are either mom-invented or made by stay-at-home moms. In the last two years, Ledeboer’s inventory has grown to more than 150 products. Mom 4 Life is overflowing with creative products such as LilyPadz--reusable, adhesive, silicone nursing pads--and The Nursing Bracelet--a fashionable bracelet that keeps track of when mom last fed her baby.

"I am having so much fun helping moms through my website. Every purchase supports at least three moms. First, it allows me to be a stay-at-home mom to my two children. Next, it provides support to the mom whose product is sold on my site. And third it helps moms through a local Crisis Pregnancy Center through a 10 percent donation of profits. I love the way that we can all help each other through something as simple as shopping.”

“What I am doing is very fulfilling. I am proud of what I offer on Mom 4 Life because it represents an amazing group of mothers that have the same vision that I do--caring for our family while creating for other moms.” A visit to Ledeboers’ site allows a view of these moms as several of their stories and photos are displayed with the product they have created.
