Behavior Design, a leading independent interactive agency, has redesigned and launched Resortquest.com, the ultimate vacation web site and premier travel resource for vacation rentals in the continental US, Hawaii, and Canada.

New York, (PRWEB) April 17, 2006 -- Behavior Design, a leading independent interactive agency, has redesigned and launched Resortquest.com, the ultimate vacation web site and premier travel resource for vacation rentals in the continental US, Hawaii, and Canada.

ResortQuest, the world’s largest vacation rental and property management firm, chose Behavior to design and develop their enterprise-level website to increase rental bookings, improve their online brand identity, and to expand into new lines of business. The project’s scope was end to end, including web site redesign, implementation of Oracle Portal and Oracle CMS, third-party partnerships for weather, mapping, and MLS listings – all synchronized with ResortQuest’s internal deployment of a new enterprise property management system.

With over 17,000 properties in dozens of destinations in the US and Canada, ResortQuest’s property search and booking process needed to work for everything from high-rise accommodations in Maui to luxury ski lodges in Aspen
Resortquest.com also includes a Luxury Rentals companion site featuring virtual tours of ResortQuest’s most exclusive vacation homes, as well as a comprehensive Real Estate portal, where vacation home buyers can shop by MLS number, destination, or specific property, or contact area realtors directly for personal service.

Highlights of the new site include:

  • Interactive maps throughout the site, including mapping capabilities to compare property locations and their vicinity to local attractions
  • Advanced search capabilities by destination, features and amenities, activities and sports, and specific property names
  • Comprehensive destination guides including information about local arts and entertainment, dining, nightlife, shopping, spas, and more
  • A personal vacation planning tool to save favorite properties, compare those properties side-by-side, and e-mail them to friends and family
  • Photo slideshows and VR Tours
  • Powerful relationship tools for ResortQuest’s valued homeowners.

“With over 17,000 properties in dozens of destinations in the US and Canada, ResortQuest’s property search and booking process needed to work for everything from high-rise accommodations in Maui to luxury ski lodges in Aspen,” noted Christopher Fahey, Partner at Behavior Design. “The new website includes many tools and features designed to close sales and keep loyal customers coming back again and again.”

Kristina Jonathan, Director of Marketing and Internet Strategy for ResortQuest, said, “With Behavior’s help, we developed an easy-to-use, attractive, and informative web site for all constituents – consumers, homeowners, and travel trade. We needed to create a website with a consistent brand image for rental and real estate businesses and ultimately increase rental bookings online and real estate referrals. Now that the site is launched, we are thrilled to see it quickly become a success with consumers and homeowners.”
