International Energy Psychology Conference Open to the Public in Santa Clara, CA

Three-day conference plus special evening events with renowned psychiatrist Judith Orloff and cellular biologist Bruce Lipton open to the public in Santa Clara, California.

San Diego, CA (PRWEB) April 14, 2006 -- The Association for Comprehensive Energy Psychology (ACEP) will hold its eighth annual international conference May 4 through 6 at the Santa Clara Marriott in Santa Clara, California. The three-day event, including evening lectures with Judith Orloff, M.D., and Bruce Lipton, Ph.D., is open to mental health practitioners and anyone interested in the emerging field of energy psychology.

Energy psychology is a family of mind-body techniques clinically observed to consistently help with psychological issues ranging from everyday stress management to severe PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder). Throughout the conference, more than 400 attendees will hear keynote presentations from leaders in the medical and scientific community, including Judith Orloff, M.D., Bruce Lipton, Ph.D., and Nan Lu, O.M.D. and choose from more than 60 sessions and workshops led by experienced energy psychology practitioners.

Dr. Orloff, a Los Angeles psychiatrist and author of Positive Energy, also will present an evening lecture, The Power of Intuition and Positive Energy to Heal, Thursday, May 4, from 7:30 to 10:00 p.m. On Friday evening, Dr. Lipton, a prominent cellular biologist, will present The Biology of Belief, based on his best-selling book of the same title. The lectures are open to the public; cost is $30 per lecture and paid at the door at the Santa Clara Marriott.

"I am passionate about bringing intuition and energy into mainstream medicine. In support of this, I’m very excited to be a keynote presenter at the ACEP conference," said Dr. Orloff. "I urge you to consider attending the conference to learn how energy medicine and energy psychology are being applied today in health and healing. This is the new wave, offering many options to complement traditional care."

ACEP extends an open invitation to interested psychologists, psychiatrists, physicians, chiropractors, counselors, educators, nurses, therapists, energy medicine practitioners, alternative health care providers, social workers, clergy and students. Continuing education credits are offered for qualifying professionals.

Conference information is available at http://www.energypsych.org. Tickets for the evening lectures will be sold at the door; cash or check will be accepted.
