Urban Resurrection

Urban Wealth SOGR (Science of Getting Rich) proposes an urban resurrection during this Easter season. Urban Renewal as defined in American Heritage Dictionary of English Language is to make like new. Urban Renewal, which peaked 1940-1970, was the government’s approach to urban landscaping or improving the appearance of urban neighborhoods. To date, the mission has been somewhat of a fiasco.

Urban Renewal as defined in American Heritage Dictionary of English Language is to make like new. Urban Renewal, which peaked 1940-1970, was the government’s approach to urban landscaping or improving the appearance of urban neighborhoods. To date, the mission has been somewhat of a fiasco. Perhaps it’s because by definition of renewal government agencies wanted these wasteland communities to look brand new which in many cases meant demolishing old run down buildings and putting up highways and civic projects. The British version is urban regeneration, which holds much more promise.

Following the British English definition of "urban regeneration", it becomes a spiritual or moral rebirth. This later definition implies an inside out approach to the cleansing, upliftment, and forward motion of urban neighborhoods which would include those living therein. It would entail rising from the dead and returning the community to life. The neighborhood and it inhabitants are not to be like the “old man”, but a better one of a higher conscious, choosing to live with intention and higher purpose.

The latter is what Urban Wealth SOGR proposes. The company has condensed a 1910 classic book, The Science of Getting Rich by Wallace D. Wattles and applied it to urban communities. The author, LeTicia Lee, says that people worldwide have been following this classic tale that has resurrected many from remedial existences to opulent wealth.

There is a Science of Getting Rich Network (scienceofgettingrich.net) where people download the e-book free of charge and participate in online classes where they set their own class fees. The goal is genuine. There is enough wealth in the world available for all who know how to attain it legally. They say there are universal laws to wealth and those who learn it will inevitably prosper.

Urban Wealth SOGR created a compact audio book version for people who may be too busy to invest in the two hour or more daily read. The power packed audio book is approximately forty minutes. People listen to it on their way to work or during their leisure hours. Participants say it’s the daily commitment that makes the difference. They say it inspires them to make a difference in their own lives thus they inevitably have an impact on their own communities.
