American Life Direct Gains New Life Insurance Affiliate Partners by Attending Virtual Networking Event with eCom Xpo
American Life Direct raises brand awareness and life insurance affiliate business presence with virtual tradeshow booth for its affiliate marketing program.
Mission Viejo, CA (PRWEB) April 17, 2006 -- For three days, from April 4th through the 6th, 2006 the life insurance affiliate marketing staff at Spectrum Direct worked their show booth at the eCom Xpo by greeting visitors and trading business cards. That sounds like business as usual, but the reality was the marketing department was at their desks in their office the entire time because eCom Xpo was a virtual tradeshow for the e-commerce industry and even the business cards, called vCards, were virtual. “It was amazing” offered Business Development Specialist Debra Rabin “We created our own virtual characters -- mine was a brunette in a pant suit drinking coffee -- and that was what our booth visitors met when they came into our virtual booth. Visitors could chat or email us through the show and see a presentation of our American Life Direct Life Insurance Affiliate Marketing program; it was just like going to a trade show but with far less hassle, you could gather and give a lot of information all from your own desk.”
Marketing Manager Shawn Schaefer had a lot to do with the booth design “I worked with our eCom Xpo representative to get as close as possible to a real trade show booth. Considering that visitors could actually see our website, our life insurance affiliate creative library and more right from our booth I think we nailed it.” And what does he think attending the show brought American Life Direct? “We wanted to raise awareness of our life insurance Affiliate Marketing program, the booth tools allowed our visitors to closely examine the American Life Direct site and our offer along side the over 120 other companies presenting at the event. Would the staff at American Life Direct attend eCom Xpo again? “Considering our life insurance affiliate marketing program applications ran three times our usual daily rate, I would think so!” said Schaefer. “We had over 800 visitors in our booth, and expect to be calling warm prospects for a few weeks.” “The visits may have been virtual, but the leads are very real, and we expect to get quite a few new direct affiliates for our life insurance affiliate marketing program from this one event” stated Debra Rabin.
