Former Catholic Priest Spills the Beans
Former Catholic Priest M.P. Burns has just published three books. One tells his own story in fictionalised novel form. The second is also a novel, the subject of which is the relationship between Jesus and Mary Magdalen, very topical in view of the Da Vinci Code. The third is a down to earth look at the Catholic Church, showing exciting possibilities for the future, in spite of present problems.
Bridlington, England, UK (PRWEB) April 15, 2006 -- Former Catholic Priest, M.P. Burns, opens the door and a few windows too, on what makes and unmakes a Catholic Priest. He pulls no punches, giving a no holds barred account of the rise and fall of one priest in a highly readable fictionalized, though autobiographical account of his own life as a priest.
At the same time, very topically in view of the interest roused by Dan Brown's Da Vinci Code, he has published a novel which deals with the life of Jesus, and his love relationship with Mary Magdalen.
To round things off, a third work frankly examines the state of the Catholic Church today, and makes a strong plea for radical renewal which could transform the Church into a mighty power for good in the world today.
