(PRWEB) April 15, 2006 -- Even the pouring rain couldn’t stop the local fashionistas, press and celebrities from converging at Mood Nightclub in Hollywood last night for the “YMI Jeanswear Celebrates Style” red carpet event and fashion show.
“The event was a huge success and we couldn’t have done it without all of our sponsors and supporters” says Dina De Fazio, Director of Marketing, “our buyers, as well as our consumers, really enjoyed seeing the latest YMI styles come to life in the fashion show, video coverage of which will soon be posted on ymijeans.com.”
Guests were treated to a Moroccan-themed fashion show produced by YMI and Michael Maddox, with makeup by Two Faced Cosmetics, and hair by Toni & Guy Hair Dressing. Kaya Jones (solo recording artist formerly of the Pussycat Dolls) acted as host for the evening. Trisha Simmons of Desperate Housewives/Heist recorded the event for Yahoo’s upcoming style section “What’s New, What’s Hot, What’s Not,” a Podcast which will be available at a later date.
