The Interlocking Concrete Pavement Institute (ICPI) announces the launch of the World of Hardscapes, ICPI's tradeshow designed specifically for contractors in the hardscaping industry. The trade show will be held March 7-10, 2007 in Nashville, Tennessee. It will feature top-notch education programs for installers and contractors, indoor and outdoor exhibits, and certification courses.
“We are very excited to launch the World of Hardscapes at a very important time for our industry,” said Joe Bowen, ICPI Chairman. “The segmental pavement and wall industry have been experiencing tremendous growth in sales accompanied by a tremendous growth in installers and contractors. An annual independent survey conducted by ICPI over the last several years indicates a doubling in paver sales every five years nationally. With this high level of growth, a major challenge facing the industry is skills and business education for installers and contractors. ICPI’s World of Hardscapes will offer an excellent vehicle for educating installers and contractors, meet the needs of the industry and increase awareness for hardscape design,” added Joe Bowen. “It will also provide excellent business opportunities for contractors to network with key manufacturers and suppliers of hardscaping products, construction equipment, vehicles and services.”
