Omega Mobile CEO Nader Nejat chosen to Speak at NAB on Mobile Flash Development

Omega Mobile CEO Nader Nejat is chosen by Future Media Concepts to give two presentations on mobile Flash development at the NAB Web and Mobile Development Conference on April 25th, 2006. These presentations will be of interest to those new to the opportunities that Flash provides in mobile development, as well as, experienced developers of mobile multimedia content.

The first presentation, “Flash for Mobile Development” will cover the basics of developing your projects in Flash for a variety of mobile devices with an emphasis on code-based concerns. The presentation shows what devices Flash is currently deployed on and explores the various Flash technologies currently available for use in development including Flash Lite, FlashCast and 3rd party mobile Flash players. Then the presentation moves on to cover a variety of best practices and development tips to increase the efficiency of your mobile Flash development process. This talk is on the Development track from 10:15-11:15 am on April 25, 2006.

The second presentation is titled “Designing Slick Content for Mobile Applications” and will be offered on the Design track from 1:30-2:30 pm on April 25th, 2006. This presentation emphasizes the visual and experience design concerns for mobile Flash development. Starting with an overview of the key issues in using Flash for mobile design, it then moves into the planning process and best practices as they relate to visual and interaction design for mobile devices. Using techniques and tips from his own R&D process, Nader will conclude this presentation with specific tips and techniques for maximizing the usability and interaction when you develop in Flash for the mobile environment.
