Spain — Can Julia

This chic, luxuriously-restored 18thC masia is perched on a hillside of the pre-Pyrenées in the heart of medieval Catalunya. Stylish, intimate, and unique, this home combines high-tech amenities with rich historic charm. Each of its eight bedrooms evokes, with impeccable taste, a different point on the map of the owners’ extensive world travels.

Italy — Villa Nel Bosco

This magnificent 17thC farmhouse near Siena sits in the heart of a large private estate on the border of a national forest. Its classic façade looks over a large walled courtyard, including the original pizza and bread oven, and a covered dining and sitting area in the shade of the first-floor loggia. ‘Bosco’ also includes a guesthouse for extended family.

France — Le Moulin

Once a working grist mill, Le Moulin is now a graciously-restored sunlit home. Its generous living spaces are ideal for an active family or group. A vast salon opens onto the garden, and upstairs, an inviting library/den includes a home entertainment system. The local town is just a quick walk away.

Other new HomesAway properties include Le Côté Sud, offering luxurious seclusion in the Provençal countryside and yet just a short stroll from Lourmarin, one of the true village gems of Provence. Designed by a Versailles architect, Château du Notre is a fine 18thC château set among 500 acres of picturesque fields, forests, ponds and streams. This perfect country retreat exudes grand Burgundian style of a bygone era. La Scuola is a chic, converted Tuscan schoolhouse of Zen-like elegance — a truly serene contemporary oasis.

Headquartered in Toronto Canada, HomesAway arranges highly personalized vacations in exceptional private residences located in Europe and soon in other quiet, culturally-rich corners of the world. Their extraordinary properties range from grand châteaux to classic villas and country farmhouses. Each provides a gracious and comfortable retreat for as few as four guests to as many as 26. Unique to HomesAway, each stay includes the services of a HomesAway Local Host — a guide, translator, itinerary planner, concierge, troubleshooter and insider. HomesAway Local Hosts provide invaluable insights and connections that help guests step effortlessly into the rhythm of local life. The HomesAway experience allows guests an intimate experience on one’s own terms, and offering the best of their home away from home and the region.

HomesAway has been described as one of the top villa rental companies by Travel & Leisure Magazine, The Wall Street Journal, and Traditional Home Magazine, among others. HomesAway Vice President Maija Palkeinen has been nominated recently for a Condé Nast Traveler’s award for best villa rental agent.
