Netsmartz Named Exclusive E-Learning Provider for C-TOSS Soft Skills Program

Program focuses on helping high school and college students prepare for IT and BPO careers.

Netsmartz, LLC, a leading provider of custom E-Learning courseware development and IT products and services, has been selected by the city of Chandigarh, India to be the exclusive provider of computer-based and web-based training courses for the city’s C-TOSS program. The “Chandigarh – Training on Soft Skills” (C-TOSS) program is designed to train the youth of Chandigarh and the neighboring regions in the professional and interpersonal skills they will need to be successful in Information Technology and Business Process Outsourcing careers.

With this agreement, Netsmartz will develop customized e-learning courseware in a variety of subject matters, including Communication Skills, Customer Service, Telesales, Global Cultures and Computer Proficiency. These online courses will be based on the same educational content that C-TOSS has been using for classroom-based training. However, with the online availability of these classes, students will be able to complete the courses on their own schedule, at their own location.

The three-year agreement is the first of its kind for C-TOSS, which was previously only available through classroom coursework. Netsmartz believes that this E-Learning model for soft skills development would also be of benefit to U.S. companies, government agencies and social services. “Most of the courses are focused on helping students learn how to provide superior customer service” said Josh Bouk, Vice President of E-Learning at Netsmartz. “Those skills would also be of tremendous value to American schools, unions and employers. Great customer service produces better customer loyalty and increased success whether the business is a restaurant, a call center or a cleaning service.”
