Passover Dedication to Dead Son, Raising Funds for Other Sick Children
Raising Funds for Fanconi Anemia (FA) Gene Therapy Research using Pixel Ads called Million Dollar Wave.com. Trying to prevent other children from dying with life robbing disease like my son. My son died so others might live.
Fort Washington, MD (PRWEB) April 19, 2006 -- Imagine hearing the words "Your child is dying". Sadly this brings about the feeling of absolute terror. It becomes a nightmare which, unfortunately, does not go away. Somehow you muster the strength to deal with this change in your life.
All your hope lies in research, that research takes money. Where will the money come from? It is left up to the families of Fanconi anemia. If we don't raise money for FA research, no one else will. However there is a benefit that goes beyond the money that many never would imagined. That benefit is realizing that so many wonderful people and businesses out in the community (beyond family and friends) are empathetic, kind, and generous and really want to help. They just have to be made aware.
85 percent of all donations to the FA Research Fund are raised by FA families. We need the efforts of everyone.
In 2005, FA families raised $1,513,971 for FA research, breaking their record of last year by $190,351. These families, stepped up and worked hard to raise critically need research dollars while simultaneously spending countless hours dealing with the personal anguish of FA. We are extremely grateful for each effort. We need more help.
FA Research fundraising goal for 2006 is $2 million. We're confident that, with this campaign, we can meet and exceed this challenge. Passover is a great time to dedicated to my son. It is a time of new beginnings. A time of giving.
