Seattle-Area Businesswomen Escape to Unplug & Recharge on April 29th

Stress affects women differently than men. Sick of the toll stress is taking on their friends and colleagues, best-selling author, novelist, radio host and speaker, Jennifer Louden and artist Noelle Remington teamed up and are taking action in their corner of the world.

Seattle, WA (PRWEB) April 19, 2006 -- Stress affects women differently than men. Women who work full-time and have children under the age of 13 report the greatest stress worldwide. That’s the key finding in a study conducted by Roper Starch which surveyed 30,000 people between the ages of 13 and 65 in 30 countries.

Sick of the toll stress is taking on their friends and colleagues, best-selling author, novelist, radio host and speaker, Jennifer Louden and artist Noelle Remington teamed up and are taking action in their corner of the world – Seattle, Washington. On Saturday, April 29, 2006, in Carkeek Park, Seattle, from 9:30am to 5:30pm, local women will gather and begin “Swimming into the Creative Flow”. The $110 workshop, accessible by registering at http://www.comfortqueen.com/dayspas.html , is specifically designed with today’s busy, over-scheduled woman in mind and is the first in a series of four similar workshops. Attendees will gain fresh perspectives, shake free from ruts, clear a path for new inspiration and renew energy - energy that they will undoubtedly bring back to their offices and homes.

Louden and Remington, both Seattle-based business owners, believe that you must be the change you want to see in the world. Louden, owner of ComfortQueen.com says, “Creativity is the absolute essential tool that women need to survive and thrive in our busy lives – it’s the key to creating energy and innovation - and yet we often think of it as a ‘fluffy’ extra – a luxury.”

Louden and her products have been featured in dozens of magazines, including US Today, O Magazine, Yoga Journal and Bottomline/Tomorrow.

Note to assignment editors and producers — Louden makes an excellent radio and TV talk show guest and can provide an engaging interview on the topics of women and lifestyle management/balance. She also can discuss her “Create to Innovate” program that addresses why US-based corporations are sorely losing the innovation battle and what they can do about it.
