Meager Upbringing Can Lead to Success
Bettye J. Jamerson and Dr. Taffy W. Wagner grew up in Arkansas and Louisiana in small towns. Despite their meager upbringings, they have reached heights beyond their belief.
Denver, CO (PRWEB) April 19, 2006 -- Bettye J. Jamerson was raised in Arkansas by her grandparents in a blended family. Even though her family was financially poor, they were rich in love. She went to college and joined the military after graduating. While serving in the Armed Forces, she was married. She separated from the military after four years.
Bettye J. Jamerson became employed in her field of radio and television broadcasting.
After being in the radio and broadcasting field for many years, Bettye left this profession and began writing. Her first book, “For the Love of Beulah” was published in 2004. In 2005, she wrote her second book, “Love: The Greatest Choice of All.”
Bettye says, “Both are inspirational books which will help you discover your purpose and understand how love is the most powerful force in the universe.” “Our day to day lives is crammed full of choices and the choices we make determines the consequences we experience throughout life whether good or bad.”
Dr. Taffy W. Wagner was raised in Louisiana by her mom, a single parent. Taffy’s mom was receiving low wages and just like Bettye, her family was rich in love. Taffy joined the Armed Forces as a means to obtain her college education. After serving for eight years, she separated and got a job. Within eighteen months of separating from the military, she met and married her husband, Eric.
Taffy returned to school to pursue a paralegal certificate and began working in the law field. After working as a paralegal for four years and becoming a parent, Taffy began writing. Dr. Wagner self-published her first book, "Debt Dilemma" in 2005 which became an Amazon.com Bestseller. Since that time, Taffy has written two more books,"Discharged Into Debt" and "Homebuyer's Helper".
Bettye J. Jamerson and Dr. Wagner reflect back on their upbringing and realize it is the beliefs that were instilled in them at a young age that encouraged them to succeed. “We feel as if we have only begun our journey of success,” said Dr. Wagner. Bettye shared, “What we are sharing with women of all ages will teach and empower them to motivate themselves to achieve success.”
