Brno, Czech Republic (PRWEB) April 20, 2006 -- Moravia Worldwide, a leading globalization solution provider, announced today a major expansion of its strategic offshore operations in Nanjing, China, including a capacity and staff growth of 60% as well as an extensive expansion of the office. This is the fourth major consecutive expansion of capacity since the establishment of the center in 2002, resulting in a total growth of over 200% in the last two years, with a further 200% growth expected in the next three years.

Today, Moravia’s Nanjing operations provide a comprehensive suite of localization services, including software testing and engineering for all languages, linguistic testing for double-byte character sets, project management, translation and DTP. They are also one of the two key production centers for Moravia’s QASight testing and engineering services business unit.

The ongoing growth of the Chinese operations is fueled by the growing demand from global companies looking for offshore testing and engineering services and a high increase in localization needs into Chinese. A major factor is also the growing need among original Chinese manufacturers to go global and reach international markets with their own products localized and tested for other countries in Asia, Europe and North America.

Today, Moravia Worldwide and QASight operate two major production hubs in Nanjing, China, and Brno, Czech Republic, and have local operations and offices across the USA, Europe and Japan. These are seamlessly integrated, enabling customers to benefit from strategic offshore solutions that combine performing backend activities in locations with lower production costs, with having a close contact with Moravia staff in our locations worldwide. This follow-the-sun, round the clock production enables to dramatically reduce time to market.

Nanjing is the capital city of the Jiangsu Province, located on the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River, and conveniently positioned between the southern centers of Shanghai and Shenzhen, and the capital of Beijing. With a population of over 6 million, Nanjing is one of China’s four key scientific and educational cities, and a home to a fast growing number of IT and research & development centers. Benefiting from major development support and investment from the Chinese government, it is also famous for its “IT street”, which hosts over 1,400 IT companies, and where the Moravia Nanjing offices are located. As a major company in Nanjing and the first to operate in the localization industry, Moravia Nanjing has also received valuable support from the Nanjing municipal government. Nanjing's more than 40 universities and colleges provide for an excellent pool of talented resources and Moravia Nanjing cooperates closely with many of the universities.

"Stability and reliable performance has been the key to the success of our Chinese center," commented Mr. Arturo Quintero, Chief Corporate Strategist of Moravia Worldwide. "Ensuring that we have a strong and reliable technical infrastructure; that we share the same intranet, training facilities and processes; and through cross-training, we have been able to ensure world-class results for our clients and smooth day-to-day interaction on the project level."

"We have become a partner of choice for our testing and engineering expertise and our near-shore and far-shore knowledge management, which has proven our ability to offshore to China for major global corporations," added Ms. Katerina Forstingerova, CEO of Moravia Worldwide.
