End-End Software appoints Torokina Networks as partner in Australia and New Zealand.

The new method developed by Torokina incorporating the End-End software is the first that we are aware of that separates SLM from BSM, and yet keeps the two paradigms closely coupled

End-End Software (Asia Pacific) Pte Ltd today announced the appointment of Torokina Networks Pty Ltd as their resellers for Australia and New Zealand. Torokina Networks is an Australian based company that provides a range of management and technical consulting that assists organisations to deliver and implement BSM, SLM, and SLAM processes and reporting.

While the market today continues to look at methods for increasing the value and return of IT systems. Telco's and large enterprises have often met with mixed results when trying to align IT with business, to produce measurable results.

“The new method developed by Torokina incorporating the End-End software is the first that we are aware of that separates SLM from BSM, and yet keeps the two paradigms closely coupled,” said Daniel Sheahan, CEO of Torokina Networks. IT departments can now continue with best practice IT management, yet still have powerful correlation metrics for the business benefit, without breaking the organization and with End-End Software we will have tool that measures the start of any SLM process being the End user said Sheahan, ex EVP of Concord Communications, who is responsible for driving Torokina Networks growth.

End-End provides real-time application performance management from the end-users' perspective, where it matters. The end user experience and associated impact on user productivity are the real measures of IT performance. End-End Software manages response time as experienced by users of distributed enterprise applications and locates the source of performance problems when business critical applications meet the real world. It continuously monitors packaged, custom, and in-house developed enterprise applications delivering key insights as to the quality of service corporate users are experiencing and benchmarking statistics.

End-End Software offers a simple, fast means to implement a service level management initiative. Unlike, some other SLM applications, which require significant development and instrumentation before they can be used, the product automatically collects data about applications, servers and transactions, and can begin returning meaningful SLM data almost immediately. This makes it a strong alternative for enterprises that want to get started quickly with base lining and/or enforcement of service level agreements.

About Torokina Networks Pty Ltd

Torokina Networks was established in 2005, by a group of senior technology experts with a common vision. Privately held, Torokina Networks has offices in Sydney, Melbourne and Singapore, with affiliate offices in Toronto, Boston, London and Munich.

With the rapid advances in network technologies, Large Enterprises, Telco’s, and service providers were able to dramatically expand the range of services offered to clients. These services typically had a common theme, to reduce cost, increase revenue, and gain competitive advantage. While comprehensive business cases justify the ongoing expenditure on these new technologies, in reality the realization of the benefits and ROI is much harder, and quantifying the actual returns on technology investments has been near impossible.
