The sound of children singing and laughing fills the air in Clearwater, Florida at 10 am on Friday, April 21st as Beth Butler, Creator and Founder of the leading, Spanish/English only language program, makes an appearance at the Making Memories Child Care Center’s Grand Opening.

Current data by Chapa & Valencia illustrates the tremendous growth of the Latino youth population in the US. The importance of parents, teachers and child care providers to take the lead in preparing the nation’s children for a global society is again affirmed in a recent study by Dr. Ellen Bialystok of York University. The study demonstrated the benefits of learning a second language early in life through advanced problem solving capabilities and early reading skills in children who received instruction in two languages. A message Beth Butler shares every day.

“I first met Beth Butler, (aka BOCA BETH) during a training for administrators and teachers bringing Spanish into the preschool classroom with fun and easy-to-use techniques. At that moment I knew when I opened my own center, I wanted my children to embrace the great diversity and be a global citizen, and I knew that BOCA BETH was the only program for me. We’re thrilled to be able to celebrate our Grand Opening and train our teachers in how to use these products from the master herself, the originator, Beth Butler,” states Denise Capri, owner and director of Making Memories Child Care Center.

The BOCA BETH program creates Educators through a series of simple, easy and fun music CDs, DVDs and supporting items that follow the exploits of BOCA the puppet, navigating both English and Spanish during the adventures. As an educator herself, Beth Butler has created lesson and activity plans that go along with each song, making it easy for anyone to lead, with or without teaching or second language experience on the part of the teacher, caregiver or parent. As an added support, anyone can sign up to receive free Language Learning flash cards at http://www.bocabeth.com.

Beth Butler travels the country sharing her passion for second language learning with children today, while continuing to develop new products that make it easy and fun to bring Spanish to Life.
