NEW YORK, NY, (PRWEB) April 20, 2006
Tom Quinn, formerly Director of Accounting for women’s content portal iVillage, has joined lead generation provider Opt-Intelligence, Inc. as Director of Finance.
Quinn joined iVillage in 1999 and guided the company through six acquisitions until its recent purchase by NBC Universal for $600 million. He was a member of iVillage’s Sarbanes-Oxley committee and was its liaison with PricewaterhouseCoopers.
“Given our exponential growth over the past three years and our projections looking forward, we welcome someone with Tom’s financial acumen and experience,” said Daniel C. Felter, co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Opt-Intelligence.
Said Quinn, “There aren’t many Internet companies that were essentially profitable from their inception and are posting the kind of growth that Opt-Intelligence is experiencing. There is no limit to the potential for a company that has both proprietary technology and the knowledge of how to provide high quality opt-in leads for some of the world’s leading marketers.”
iVillage operates content channels that cover women's interests, including health & well-being, entertainment and beauty & style, as well as a parenting channel and the gurl.com site targeting teens.
