Munir Bana Appointed as First Chief Executive Officer of KTDMC

LAHORE, (PRWEB) April 23, 2006 -- The Board of Directors of Karachi Tools, Dies & Moulds Centre (KTDMC) has appointed Munir K. Bana as first Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Centre, as well as Chairman of the Board of Directors.

He was appointed at the first meeting of the Board of Directors of the KTDMC held after incorporation at Karachi the other day. Those who attended the meeting included Munir K. Bana, Tahir Shahbaz, Col. ® Syed Anwar Ali Pervez, M. Ilyas Suri, Ashfaq Paracha, Syed Javed Ashraf, Rumi Moiz, Aftab Ashraf, Ahsan Siddiqi & Dr. Muzaffar Mahmood.

Officials from Technology Upgradation and Skill Development Company (TUSDEC) and Pakistan Industrial Development Corporation (PIDC) also attended the meeting.

Chairman KTDMC informed the participants that CAD/CAM classes have already started in the Centre. He said that work on the administrative block had also started while negotiation for workshop building construction is underway and likely to be completed shortly.

The meeting discussed the organizational structure of the KTDMC Centre, expansion of the board of directors, appointment of auditors, legal advisor and tax consultants, as well as the budget.

KTDMC has been established by Ministry of Industries, Government of Pakistan as a subsidiary of PIDC to provide training and consultancy services for development of Tools, Dies and Moulds for the engineering industry. This is an initiative of Technology Upgradation and Skill Development Company (TUSDEC).
