Flipping the Bird at the Bird Flu; A Controversial Look at the Current "Crisis"

It's pretty impossible to avoid the scary stories about bird flu that have gripped the media in recent months. If you were to listen to them, it's just as impossible to avoid the bird flu itself. However, a controversial new book suggests that the problem may not be quite what it seems...

(PRWEB) April 23, 2006 -- We've all seen, heard and read the headlines promising thousands, hundreds of thousands, even millions of deaths as a result of a global bird-flu "pandemic". In fact, we have heard it all before with the 1970s swine flu and more recently with SARS. There is cleary some sort of health problem happening, but a controversial new book suggests it might not be what we think.

Web author Brian Adamson has pulled no punches in his examination of the "crisis" as portrayed in the media and accepted by the public. His criticism of the shoddy journalism, Government propaganda and industrial interests involved is direct and forceful, backed, as it is with copious evidence of behaviour we should not see in the medical field.

The book paints a very different picture of not only exactly what bird flu is, but how we have been hoodwinked into believing it is a foreign invader originating in the far east when, in fact, it originated much closer to home. How this has happened and why then become very awkward questions, whose answers are no less disturbing and lead inevitably to some far-reaching conclusions.

Inevitably, there are going to be strong reactions from many people who just can't accept the complicity of those involved. This, in itself, may not be a bad thing if it leads people to question their information sources and be discerning about what they see and hear as he suggests.

"Avoiding bird flu. How to escape the promised avian flu pandemic" may not be the easiest book you will read, but it may just be one of the most important.
