The very hand of God has reached down and touched some of her works with images that the artist, herself, did not put in her paintings. Girgenti explains, “These manifestations were MIRACLES performed by God. My hand was the tool He used, but I was totally clueless!”
Miraculous images found in Joyce Girgenti's paintings:
1) "Momma's Little Man" has an image of an Angel in the folds of the pillowcase. With intentions of painting over the butterfly since it seemed a little too girly, she stood back and asked God what to do with it. At that moment she saw the Unintentional Angel. It never was a butterfly. The artist is so thankful that she took this decision up with her Father because she nearly painted over this holy image.
2) "The Legend of the Dogwood" has an empty tomb with the stone rolled away and a little lamb. The lamb is looking toward the tomb. This was not discovered until a year after this piece was published.
3) "Raising Faith" has a broken heart in the middle of Jesus' name, which is incorporated into the outstretched wing of the eagle.
It’s a proven medical fact that art betters a person’s well being, spiritually, mentally, and physically. God chose this dedicated artist to paint pictures that have become an outlet to relieve stress and opened doors to life changing experiences.
Girgenti considers her wide variety of paintings to be a planted and nurtured crop that creates a mission field to reach those in need. Everyone on earth is created to serve God. We are here for His pleasure. Though some may try to discourage her and Satan attacks her, she will not waver.
