Eileen Carey Impresses McBride's Nashivlle Fans
Eileen Carey performances at the Blue Bird Cafe in Nashville TN...fans loved her new song Hollwood.
(PRWEB) April 27, 2006 -- Martina McBride’s fans celebrated indy country star Eileen Carey’s first show in Nashville by filling the famous Bluebird Cafe’s Chicksinger Night Showcase last week. They cheered her on, while she gave them an evening filled with her own style of country music.
McBride’s fans have kept the airwaves and networks buzzing comparing Eileen’s style to Martina’s. Now that they’ve had a chance to see Carey in person, they’ve discovered her latest song “Hollywood”, which many predict will be her next big hit.
While the audience obviously enjoyed Carey’s current hit “Walkin’ After Midnight”, her “Hollywood” won the audience’s heart.
Lucky fans will be hearing more from her soon. Eileen is planning several listening parties for her recent CD “Hearts of Time” on country radio stations.
Eileen’s success the other night has also led to another date at Nashville Bluebird Café, as well as an invitation to play more Bluebird Chicksinger Night Showcases around the country.
“I loved playing the Bluebird Café in Nashville, the fans were so welcoming. We’re looking forward to coming back. It’s been good for Garth and it’s certainly being good to me!” said Carey.
Eileen Carey's energetic cover of Patsy Cline's "Walkin' After Midnight" began taking off after her very successful debut on Blair Garner’s syndicated “After MidNite” Country Radio show.
Then, Martina McBride fans noticed that Carey’s “Walkin’ After Midnight” seemed to be attracting more playtime than McBride’s “I Still Miss Someone.” The fans listened to the newcomer and they liked what they heard.
Eileen’s latest CD, Hearts of Time, is surpassing all expectations. Meanwhile she’s working on a new CD collection that includes collaborations with major Nashville songwriters.
