Veteran broadcaster and Podcast pioneer Mark "Jensen" Titterington of PodSqod.com will be Podcasting "live" from the convention floor at the National Association of Broadcasters convention in Las Vegas.
Jensen will be Podcasting at major equipment manufacturers on the convention floor such as HeilSound, Marantz D&M Pro and Symetrix. "NAB provides a fantastic opportunity for me to present Podcasting to the masses. Even informed 'techies' still are mostly unaware of Podcasting. ...I want to change that", says Jensen.
"The future of audio-on-demand is wide open. While some envision Podcasting as a fad or a niche market, I see Podcast technology converging with traditional media to provide more choices than ever for the audience." Jensen continues, "With PodSqod.com, I'm colliding the worlds of broadcast, recording and computers. People simply want more choices in program material and they want to consume that material on their own schedule. …that's what Podcasting is all about."
In closing, Jensen remarks, "broadcasters, recording studios and Podcasters are all looking for the same thing; they want to be heard, they want market penetration."
The National Association of Broadcasters convention is touted as the "Worlds Largest Electronic Media Show." The 2006 convention is being held in Las Vegas April 24 - 27.
