A recent survey concludes that 25% of people in the UK are uncomfortable with their debt but the Debt Help Site believes there are debt solutions for even the worst debt problems.

Debt problems get worse when they are ignored or the wrong options are taken when trying to deal with the debt.

Despite evidence that a significant proportion of UK residents are uneasy with their level of debt, the Debt Help Site insists that debt solutions exist for all kinds of debt problems.

According to a recent UK debt survey by CreditExpert, an online credit monitoring service, 25% of people are uncomfortable with their borrowing levels and 21% admitted they were unaware as to whether they had a good credit score.

This is further evidence of an increasing debt problem in the UK, with insolvency and bankruptcy on the rise and the total of personal debt in excess of £1.1 trillion.

However, Terry Galvin of debt help experts the Debt Help Site says that with good advice and professional guidance, debt solutions can be found, no matter how serious the problem.

Galvin said: "It is understandable that so many people are feeling uncomfortable with their debt but there are positive steps they can take to do something about it.

"Debt problems get worse when they are ignored or the wrong options are taken when trying to deal with the debt."

Galvin adds: "The best course of action for those worried about their debt is to get professional debt counselling. That way they can find out all the options available to them and get advice on which is best suited to their situation."
