Lightning Pictures LLC to Produce the Motion Picture "American Identity"

"American Identity" tells a story of two military families affected by the events of 9/11. With a strong screenplay and a powerful cast in the making, there is already buzz of Oscar surrounding the project.

Beverly Hills, CA (PRWEB) April 24, 2006 -- Lightning Pictures LLC is preparing to produce the motion picture "American Identity", a film that takes a unique approach to reflecting on the events of 9/11. The film tells the story of two military families during the events of 9/11, showing a softer, more humanistic side of the military.

The film was written by Lightning Pictures LLC CEO Stephen Rollins, who also serves as the films Producer and Director. "This film has tremendous personal meaning and I can't wait to share it with everyone" says Rollins. The film will feature an "A" list cast, and will introduce Illena Oliver in her motion picture debut. The film will be shot in three locations: Ft. McClellen, Alabama, San Bernardino and Los Angeles, California.

Lightning Pictures LLC is currently in negotiations with investors to complete the financial packaging required for production. Once completed, production will begin immediately at Ft. McClellen. "American Identity" is expected to be released in Spring, 2007.
