IXEurope Receives the Queens Award for Enterprise

IXEurope Plc, one of Europe's largest and fastest growing independent datacentre outsourcers, has today been honoured with the prestigious Queen’s Award for Enterprise, the highest accolade in the United Kingdom that can be made to an organisation. The Queen’s Award to IXEurope is being made in recognition of its achievements in developing International Trade.

IXEurope Plc, one of Europe's largest and fastest growing independent datacentre outsourcers, has today been honoured with the prestigious Queen’s Award for Enterprise, the highest accolade in the United Kingdom that can be made to an organisation. The Queen’s Award to IXEurope is being made in recognition of its achievements in developing International Trade.

It is one of just 90 organisations throughout the whole of the United Kingdom to receive this five year award honoured by The Queen in 2006 as she celebrates her 80th birthday.

Established in 1998 with its first IXDatacentre™ opening in London the following year, IXEurope now serves over 400 customers from ten IXDatacentres™ in six cities across France, Germany, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. It employs 120 staff who have delivered an unbroken record of over 30% annual revenue growth in the seven years since the company was established.

The company is regarded as a leading provider of datacentre, connectivity and business continuity services by customers in the enterprise, internet and telecoms markets.
