More than 100 of the world’s most beautiful women recently united in Las Vegas, NV, to vie for the coveted title of Miss Hawaiian Tropic International 2006, and their share of cash, prizes, and endorsement contracts. Only one lucky lady, Kristen Achee of Austin, TX, walked away with the crown.
Whippany, N.J. (PRWEB) April 25, 2006 –- More than 100 of the world’s most beautiful women recently united in Las Vegas, NV, to vie for the coveted title of Miss Hawaiian Tropic International 2006, and their share of cash, prizes, and endorsement contracts. Only one lucky lady, Kristen Achee of Austin, TX, walked away with the crown.
Achee believes, “…that everything in this world happens for a reason,” and that her new pageant title affords her incredible opportunities both professionally and personally. She will be traveling the world representing Hawaiian Tropic and other sponsors at public speaking engagements, events, photo shoots and more. Shared Achee, “I have so many dreams, from traveling the world and experiencing new cultures, to having a happy family.”
Runners-up, in no particular order, included Tala Stalling representing St. Maarten; Laura Davis representing Hong Kong; Kerly Ruiz representing Caracas, Venuzuela; and Anya Monzikova representing St. Petersburg, Russia.
Jessica Solek of Foxwoods, CT was awarded the TRIMSPA Dream Body Award and presented with a $4000 check by 2005 Million Dollar Makeover Challenge finalist Richard Crean. Solek will join Crean, who lost 54 lbs. with diet, exercise and X32, in serving as an inspiration to others who would like to lose weight. For the third year running, TRIMSPA has been named the official weight loss supplement of Hawaiian Tropic pageants.
The pageant’s hosts included last year’s title holder, Charmain Espinosa of Panama City, and actor Lorenzo Lamas. The pageant’s celebratory theme paid tribute to “Carnivale,” and provided a colorful and festive backdrop to the upcoming 1-hour television special set to broadcast nationally in the spring/summer 2006.
