Amentra, Inc., an industry leader in business and technology consulting, has been selected by JBoss, Inc. as the 2006 recipient of the JBoss Innovation Award. Amentra was selected, from amongst many strong entries, as the winner within the Service Provider category for utilizing its vast expertise in implementing enterprise SOA (Service Oriented Architecture) utilizing JBoss Enterprise Middleware Suite (JEMS™) while incorporating its signature mentoring methodology in a turnkey fashion to transform its clients’ people, process, and technology landscape.

Winners were selected in 11 categories based upon their use of JEMS to improve business processes, overcome technology challenges, and enhance their organizations’ bottom lines. Nominees for the Certified Service Provider category included JBoss partners from around the world.

Category winners will be recognized at a ceremony during JBoss World 2006 in Las Vegas on June 15 and will present overviews of their projects. During the conference, attendees will vote among category winners for the JBoss Innovator of the Year, who will be revealed at the ceremony.

We were impressed by the high caliber of projects from which we had to select,” said JBoss Innovation Award judge, Rick Watson, J. Rex Fuqua Distinguished Chair for Internet Strategy, Terry College of Business, University of Georgia.
