CATAMARAN FIORDOS DEL SUR is a new quick shuttle which navigates from Puerto Natales by the Ultima Esperanza Sound at a speed of 25 knots, reaching the final destination, the Balmaceda and Serrano Glaciers in a short period of time, allowing you to stay more time in other attractions of the area.

Punta Arenas, Patagonia, Chile (PRWEB) April 26, 2006 -- We are glad to share with everyone who loves Patagonia the beginning of a new tourism product/service called CATAMARAN FIORDOS DEL SUR. This is a new quick shuttle which navigates from Puerto Natales by the Ultima Esperanza Sound at a speed of 25 knots, reaching the final destination, the Balmaceda and Serrano Glaciers in a short period of time, allowing you to stay more time in other attractions of the area.

Southern Patagonia gathers much people each year for its incomparable landscapes and marvelous fjords and channels. Puerto Natales is a small town and has become a headquarter for excursions and navigations to astonishing summits and millenial glaciers, beautiful waterfalls, thick forests and a variety of terrestrial and marine fauna. FIORDOS DEL SUR Catamaran is the newest and the fastest craft of the local market allowing you to reach all the attractions comfortably and faster. Because of the higher speed it develops, you have more time to enjoy in the place ot to take another excursion you like instead of being in a ship allday.

Getting deep into Ultima Esperanza Sound we shall see a spectacular scenery of bays, mountains and waterfalls along with a great variety of birds like the condor and the cormorants in their nests. We should also enjoy watching the small youngs of the sea wolves in their colonies depending of the season. Once in the base of the Balmaceda Mountain we will disembark into the Bernardo O'Higgins National Park to start a brief walk to the shore of a quiet and small lake which keep in its waters ices with romantic and fantastic shapes in the very feet of Serrano Glacier, which hangs from the high summits of the mountain. After an hour there, we head back the the pier to begin our comeback. In this hour you can enjoy short zodiac or kayak excursions among the ices. (Excursions must be booked in advance). Going back we can see Balmaceda Glacier as we enjoy a cocktail cooled with millenatry ice. After passing other interesting natural spots we drive into Puerto Natales, keeping unforgettable images and a feeling of calm and peace.

We look forward to have you with us in your next trip to Patagonia!
