The California-based Master Design clothing company has begun using only clients as models with their new collectible, MASTCAR. The move is to strengthen their belief that mature women should be featured, not supplanted by younger models.
Torrance, CA (PRWEB) April 25, 2006 -- With the release of their new clothing collection, MASTCAR, clothing company Master Design has committed to using clients as models for all their apparel.
The Torrance, CA-based company launched their new line with a photoshoot at the garage of famed racer Parnelli Jones. The shoot featured a client dressed in the newest collectibles next to the new Ford GT.
"The star of the shoot was hardly the car," noted Master Design CEO Loretta Pierce, referring to the model, Lora Watts, senior vice president, customer events and sponsorships for AT&T. "Lora is smart, professional, strong, and clearly taking the thunder away from the car. Working with our clients, we came to realize they are the ideal model for our collections."
The event was a confluence of many efforts by the company. Watts, a longtime Master Design client and advocate for the empowerment of women, is helping Master Design spearhead it's rejuvenated campaign to mentor women in the workplace."
