Talent-based Hiring Pioneer Receives Lifetime Achievement Award

Target Training International awards second ever Lifetime Achievement Award to John Mathis of Keyline Company. His 50 year career brought him successfully from sales to his passion, finding the individuals with the personal talent to excel in their jobs and the company.

Downingtown, Pa. (PRWEB) April 27, 2006 -- John B. Mathis, Founder and President of Keyline Company, Inc. in Downingtown, has been honored by Target Training International (TTI) with their Lifetime Achievement Award. The Award, given to Mr. Mathis in January at the Annual TTI Winter Winners Conference in Scottsdale, Arizona, recognizes his innovation, superb communications skills and his outstanding performance during his over 50 years in the sales profession. TTI CEO, Bill Bonnstetter, presented the award and remarked that it is just the second time anyone has received it in TTI history.

Mr. Mathis is an independent contractor for TTI and has been associated with that company since it’s beginning. He is instrumental in, not only the sales and use of the behavioral assessment tools provided by TTI, but also in the constant reevaluation and improvement of the instruments. “Apparently I made more contributions than I’ve been aware of,” said Mr. Mathis, “but my suggestions have led to some improvement of their products. For many years, I have offered to assist my peers in the use of TTI’s products for their businesses.”

The products to which Mr. Mathis refers are used in the field of human resources and business development. “I’ve been through the entire gamut of staff development, team building, working with managers to assist them to be better communicators with their people, and executive coaching. However, today I have a significant passion for employee selection and I’m intensely interested in providing companies with employees who have the personal talent to do a job,” affirms Mathis.

He plans to continue to use his passion for the profession to improve the level of service that he provides to his clients, focusing his attention on the many new companies that have been established or have relocated in the Chester County area. He is acutely aware of the investment that businesses make in their employees and the staggering amount of time and money that is lost when the job is not filled by the right person.

Chester County businesses are indeed fortunate to have Mr. Mathis and his expertise as a resource. He provides the key through which their operations can run smoothly and efficiently resulting in increased effectiveness and profit in this fast expanding market.
