CHICAGO, IL (PRWEB) April 28, 2006
Twelve regional litigation service firms have joined forces to launch CausaFirma, LLC, the first national company to offer standardized and integrated support services from discovery through trial presentation.
The partners, selected for their leadership roles in their own markets, have developed a process for delivering consistently high quality litigation support services that are uniform in appearance and functionality.
Launched at the ABA Tech Show, April 20-21 in Chicago, CausaFirma provides high-end trial technologies, court reporting, video technologies, online case management and a wide range of new media services, including graphics, multimedia, interactive white boards, animation and simulations.
The partners, with an average 20 years trial support experience, are located in major litigation markets across the country.
CausaFirma has structured its business to meet the needs of complex, national litigation, according to Frederick S. Aumick, of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., chairman of the new company.
“Litigators today must use a wide range of technology to effectively communicate and connect with the courts and juries, as well as their adversaries. But technology presents challenges,” says Aumick.
“As the number of software programs, file formats and applications multiply, valuable time is often wasted getting one program to talk to another or wading through incompatible formats and inconsistent quality,” he explains.
“We’ve seen a strong market demand for national standardization to assure consistent, uniform and compatible delivery of all depositions, video testimony and trial technologies,” he adds. “Dealing with a single source simplifies communication with the legal team and allows the attorneys to focus on winning strategies rather than problem solving.
“Our strength comes from the collective experience of top professionals across the country as well as innovative service offerings, a devotion to excellence, and a commitment to winning that is equaled only by our clients,” says Aumick.
The partners include: G & M Court Reporters, Boston; Legal Video Services, Inc., Chicago; Rennillo Court Reporting, Records & Media, Cleveland; Legal Video Services, Inc., Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; Pirozzi Computerized Reporting, New York; James DeCrescenzo Reporting, LLC, Philadelphia; Trial Technologies, Inc., Philadelphia; Streski Reporting and Video, Pittsburgh; Case Strategies, San Diego; VideoTrack LLC, San Diego; ProMotion Legal Solutions, Seattle; and Kriegshauser Reporting & Video, St. Louis.
Additional partners are currently being considered in Dallas, Detroit, Houston, Los Angeles, San Jose and Washington, D.C. CausaFirma will continue to add markets as necessary to meet client needs.
The company’s national headquarters is in Chicago.
