The Internet-based travel company Vacations Made Easy continues to receive phenomenal responses to its new philanthropic program, “Believe in Dreams,” which is aimed at helping the vacation dreams of families in need come true. The program allows qualifying families to submit their stories to the company’s Web site, http://www.vacationsmadeeasy.com, where site visitors will read and vote on the most deserving family. That family will then be awarded a comprehensive vacation package to the destination of their choice by Vacations Made Easy.

To date, the submissions have been filled with deserving families who are unable to afford a vacation of their own, but who desperately need some time away to bond and forget their troubles for a few days. Visitors can learn about Skyler, a beloved 4-year-old little girl with cystic fibrosis. Her family, whose medical bills have kept from them vacationing together, long to travel away from the cold of Canada to a warm vacation destination. Guests can also read the submission from a brother whose sibling selflessly stayed at home to take of ailing parents. The dream of the submitter is for his brother and sister-in-law to be able to now take time for themselves to travel to New York. They can read the story of Ms. Schiller, who has suffered through serious illness, personal tragedy, and several years of loss, and who dreams of being able to take her family on a vacation together while they still can.

New Believe in Dreams submissions are being received everyday, and voting on the site will begin on June 1. The submission that receives the most votes will be announced on Monday, July 3. Any family that has faced extreme situations or events that have prevented them from being able to enjoy a vacation on their own is eligible for the program. Additionally, friends and relatives are welcome to submit stories on behalf of a deserving family.
