Latest Trend: VIP in Pediatric Dentistry

Brace Yourself: Pediatric Dentistry Just Got Better

(PRWEB) April 29, 2006 -- Almost everyone can recall the dreaded visit to the orthodontist to have braces put on. Adults way past their teen years can still conjure the medicinal smell of the orthodontist’s office and the torture of lying in the chair waiting to become a “metal mouth.” All that has changed at the Manhattan office of Dr. Jacqueline Fulop-Goodling. This blonde bombshell looks nothing like the typical orthodontist and she provides her privileged pediatric patients with a 21st century version of orthodonture that makes it cool and hip to have braces or Invisalign without compromising the medical/aesthetic outcome. In fact, Dr. Jacquie is Invisalign's National Spokesperson for 2005-2006 and was voted the #1 Female Orthodontist in NYC for 2005-2006.

As a Manhattanite who is in tune with trends, Dr. Jacquie knows that New York City kids are a tough crowd to please. By the time some of these pampered kids are 13, they have been to extravagant Bar Mitzvahs, traveled on private jets, and made a purchase with an Amex Platinum card. These discerning young consumers also expect their medical care to be extraordinary. When patients have their hour long Invisalign consultation they are treated to a manicure, pedicure and a makeup application by a top makeup artist. In addition, the state of the art office is equipped with Internet access, Ipods, video games and television. Patients can even download their favorite movies. Instead of being tormented by typical medical office elevator music, kids can listen to Eminem, Nelli, or any music they favor. When they leave the office, these pampered princesses and princes are not given a tooth brush and a pencil case, but instead leave with a gift bag of the latest teen beauty, fashion and other novelty items. In fact, they can even purchase nail polish from a signature nail care line carried by the doctor. While medical spas have become increasingly prevalent in adult aesthetic medicine, Dr. Fulop-Goodling is among the first to make it available for pediatric patients. According, to Dr. Fulop-Goodling, “the time was ripe for this especially in a city like New York where consumer’s needs and desires are so specifically catered to. Kids in New York have a level of sophistication akin to those twice their age. In a particular socio-economic demographic, so much is made available to them (New York City kids) at an early age, that they have come to expect services that surpass the norm.”

Because Dr. Jacquie utilizes the latest techniques in computerized orthodontics and advanced orthodontic wires, her patients are able to increase the time between their visits from monthly visits to every 2-4 months, while seeing the most amazing results. Both of her offices are equipped with the latest digital computer imaging systems and digital radiographic equipment to show her patients their cases along with similar completed ones.
