Vocal Downloads, a new web site, offers DJs, remixers and music producers’ access to a large bank of a cappella vocal samples for their music productions.

With a large searchable database of a cappella samples, Vocal Downloads, a new web site, is the ultimate vocal sample resource for DJs, remixers and music producers.

“Many people in the music field have the need of vocal samples for their productions, but there has been no single resource to obtain them,” says D’Layna Huguez-Dixon, Founder of Vocal Downloads. “Vocal Downloads is not only a single-point resource, but it also saves people from buying an entire CD of samples and ending up using only some of them.”

Vocal Downloads (available at http://www.vocaldownloads.com) offers a cappella vocal samples ranging from 1 to 30 seconds in length. Samples are classified by category – Gospel, Jazz, Latin, Phrases, Rap, Vocals and Vocals with Harmony – as well as by artist. New samples are added on a weekly basis.

Users can download vocal samples in .wav format, at 44.1 kHz and 16 bit format. These samples can then be used in music productions, all royalty-free and hassle free. The web site offers full refunds for damaged, incomplete, unplayable or corrupted files. In the future, Vocal Downloads will offer custom vocal sample service for clients who may have specific needs not already addressed by Vocal Downloads’ existing sample catalog.

Vocal Downloads currently features the work of leading artists like 11-time Grammy winner Tony Lindsay, gospel-blues singer Sista Monica, Redd, RnB singer Ryan Duarte whose hit single “You” was produced by Rick Wake and House/Salsa vocalist Leedia. D’Layna herself is a vocalist, writer and producer. Vocal Downloads has been the result of her realization during her seven years of experience in the dance house industry that a resource such as this has been sorely lacking.

“There are many vocal artists of immense caliber and talent out there. With Vocal Downloads they will be accessible to a much wider audience,” says D’Layna. “This web site fills a gaping hole and will ultimately lead to the creation of more enjoyable, better produced music.”
