Using the service is simple and straightforward; upon entering the site, the user is asked to give some details about the party receiving the gift (such as age, gender, relation to gift giver, etc.). The user also provides the budget limit and the occasion or reason for the gift. will then send gift-giving advice by e-mail rather than display it on the site.

This service is free and utterly anonymous. The single personal detail users are asked to submit is an e-mail address for the delivery of the response.

The founders of say the theme of this Web site is friendship, and this relates to the advertisements as well. "We rely on advertisements for maintaining the service, but we don't want the ads to put off our visitors – so pop-ups are out," Yogev says.
