Today, information security is a matter of national security and as such it plays a vital role in safeguarding the safety and prosperity of citizens, businesses, governments and nations. At the very heart of information security at business and government organizations across the world lie security infrastructures, the very foundation that enables and delivers the information security protection controls that organizations use to protect their information and IT assets.

Given the vital role that security infrastructures play today, trustworthy protection of security infrastructures is a matter of paramount importance. As organizations across the world begin to realize the vital role played by their IT security infrastructures, they see a first hand need to deploy adequate security infrastructure protection defenses. Security Infrastructure protection is thus poised to takeover security compliance as the number one IT priority across America.

In his quest to secure the very foundation of information security across the world, Tandon intends to develop and deliver the world’s first platform independent and scalable information security infrastructure protection solution that enable and empower organizations to specify, enforce, monitor, assess, and analyze a unified security policy governing the protection of their security infrastructures.

Tandon plans to launch Paramount Defenses Inc. (http://www.paramountdefenses.com), his delivery vehicle, later this year.

Over the last few months, some of the world’s top venture capital firms (who have funded Google, Apple, Cisco and RedHat, amongst others) have approached Tandon and information security personnel from some of the world’s top business and government institutions have attested to the need for the solution he intends to develop and deliver. Our infrastructures are Windows Server based and we’re very serious about security here. We look forward to your product so we can further increase the security of our IT security infrastructure.”

From the White House to the British Houses of Parliament and Corporate America in between, as the heart of a Microsoft Windows Server based IT security infrastructure, the Active Directory is the foundation of identity and access management and is the foundation of information security at over 80% of IT infrastructures across the world.

From 2001 until 2005, Tandon was Program Manager for Active Directory security on Microsoft’s Windows Server Development team. In this capacity, he was responsible for all aspects of Active Directory security and was at the center of the access management and security infrastructure protection space.

While at Microsoft, Tandon helped improve the security posture of numerous Fortune 1000 companies and national and international governments around the world. In addition, his work with Microsoft’s Information Security IT team in 2005 helped strengthen Microsoft’s own IT security infrastructure defenses.
