A whimsical beer that packs on the flavor as it “skinnies” down the calories and carbs, Skinny Dip stands at only 110 calories and 7 grams of carbohydrates in each 12-ounce bottle. It delivers a crisp, citrus flavor that is the perfect remedy for those steamy summer months ahead.
Skinny Dip was inspired by New Belgium Founder Jeff Lebesch, an avid tri-athlete and outdoorsman. His quest: to create a thirst-quenching beer to be enjoyed after athletic activities (or sweltering summer days) that could boast a refreshing experience without the typical uninspired taste of “light” beers. Accepting the challenge was New Belgium Brewmaster Peter Bouckaert. His response was a beer where cascade hops frolic with kaffir lime and ample malt to create a bright, citrusy nose that’s as crisp as chilling in a mountain pond.
