Plunge Into Summer With Skinny Dip Beer

New Belgium Brewing Introduces the Summer’s Most Flavorful and Figure-Friendly Beer: Go ahead – reveal a little more this season! Skinny Dip, New Belgium Brewing’s newest seasonal beer, sheds its calories and carbs while sporting a full-bodied flavor, ranking it as the coolest choice for a figure-friendly and highly refreshing summer beer.

(PRWEB) May 1, 2006 -- Go ahead – reveal a little more this season! Skinny Dip, New Belgium Brewing’s newest seasonal beer, sheds its calories and carbs while sporting a full-bodied flavor, ranking it as the coolest choice for a figure-friendly and highly refreshing summer beer.

New Belgium Brewing, the most innovative, eco-conscious craft brewer in the country, has done it again with its newest seasonal entrant, Skinny Dip. A whimsical beer that packs on the flavor as it “skinnies” down the calories and carbs, Skinny Dip stands at only 110 calories and 7 grams of carbohydrates in each 12-ounce bottle. It delivers a crisp, citrus flavor that is the perfect remedy for those steamy summer months ahead.

Skinny Dip was inspired by New Belgium Founder Jeff Lebesch, an avid tri-athlete and outdoorsman. His quest: to create a thirst-quenching beer to be enjoyed after athletic activities (or sweltering summer days) that could boast a refreshing experience without the typical uninspired taste of “light” beers. Accepting the challenge was New Belgium Brewmaster Peter Bouckaert. His response was a beer where cascade hops frolic with kaffir lime and ample malt to create a bright, citrusy nose that’s as crisp as chilling in a mountain pond.

Skinny Dip is gathering acclaim for achieving maximum taste with minimum guilt. Men’s Health magazine placed it in the winner’s circle for “The Most Satisfying Beers for Under 140 Calories,” saying, "A good beer for kicking back after a long day of hard work."

As a unique addition to New Belgium’s seasonal lineup, Skinny Dip will only be available through August. It can be found at watering holes and liquor stores across the 16 states where New Belgium beers are distributed.
