Newark Library cites enthusiasm for Newark/Naples Cultural Exchange Project by Daniel P Quinn. Project will include Antonio Masini, artist from Potenza, Italy, poetry from NJ, Theatre Productions from the USA to Naples, and Napoli to Newark etc.
(PRWEB) May 2, 2006 -- Anthony Verdoni becomes lead corporate sposnsor for Newar/Naples and the Sacco & Vanzetti project. Corporate Sponsors Invited for Newark, NJ, Naples, Italy cultural exchange project 2009/12. Work will also include Antonio Masini exhibit focused on a collection of original lithographs, and paintings by Masini. His work has been seen in Gdansk, Berlin, Bucharest, Sao Paolo, Iquique, Milan, Perugia, & Naples among other cities in Canada and Australia as well. Masini' s work was previously shown by Vice-Counsel of Italy @ Gateway Center Office, Newak, Trapezio Cafe Gallery, Nutley and the Morris Museum.

Project will include Antonio Masini, artist from Potenza, Italy, poetry from NJ, Theatre Productions from the USA to Naples, and Napoli to Newark, Photo Exhibits etc. Project is still in the planning stages of development over 3 years and the themes are Prelude, Overture, and Finale for 2009/12 with Photgraphy, poetry, and Chamber Music the first year. Dance, Music, and Art in the second year. Theatre, Opera, and Pompeii in Year 3 for example.

In the rich production of Masini there is an irreversible great love of the earth and nature, not only in a literal sense but the interplay between life and our human nature. The fruit of this dual sensibility of a love of life and nature, that reality is not only a sense of the mundane aspects of life but also its metaphorical reality. The form of his work moves between pictorial imagination and also a strong use of expressive symbols merged with a sometimes whirlwind or violent expressionism in his use of color with moving light.
