The Silver Anvil Awards program recognizes the most outstanding public relations programs planned and executed each year. This week's premiere Silver Anvil edition will feature c3 Communications, Inc. (c3) nominated for their efforts promoting two new attractions at Belmont Park, a amusement center on the beach in San Diego, California and the 80th Anniversary of the San Diego Coaster Company's Giant Dipper roller coaster. With a team of three and a budget of $10,000, c3 was challenged to increase park sales by 16 percent; in the end, San Diego Coaster Company management confirmed that sales were increased by over 26 percent and they were able to reduce their advertising budget during the course of the year.
