Doc's Sports Service Posts 2006 Kentucky Derby Picks and 2006 Kentucky Derby Odds and Information for the Run for the Roses

Doc’s Sports has been handicapping every major horse racing event since they opened for business in 1971. The Kentucky Derby features the best three-year-olds in the world and due to the popularity of the race and the high degree of difficulty in handicapping, many bettors look to the professionals for their expert picks and predictions.

(PRWEB) May 2, 2006 -- Doc's Sports has been handicapping the 2006 Kentucky Derby for the last couple months, judging the performance of certain horses in Kentucky Derby prep races. The race will take place Saturday, May 6 at Churchill Downs in Louisville, Kentucky. Doc will be in close contact with a key trainer and horse handicapping experts for this year's race, getting the exclusive information needed to produce a profit.

Last year we saw a huge longshot win the Kentucky Derby as Giacomo came in first at 50-1. The second place finisher, Closing Argument, was another longshot at 72-1. Is there a chance that we could see more big money payouts in Louisville? Doc Moseman thinks this is a real possibility.

“Just like last year, this is a wide-open race,” said Moseman, who started Doc’s Sports in the early 1970s. “This will be very competitive. I have been watching the Derby for 34 years and this is the first time I have seen so many front-runners. There are not as many closers as we have seen in past years. There is a great chance of another big longshot winning this one.”

With Doc's Kentucky Derby package -- which is available for only $19 -- you will receive a variety of selections for the big race. Doc's feels the best way to cash a winning ticket, is to offer you a $100 base bet which includes: a horse to win, a horse to place, a four horse trifecta box, and a four horse exacta box. This same formula would have netted you $720 in the 2005 Belmont Stakes, as Doc cashed in big with his recommendations. Doc’s has correctly picked the winning horse in five of the last 11 Kentucky Derby Races, including a horse that paid 30-1 (Charismatic in 1999).

The Kentucky Derby is one of them most unique races to handicap. It is the first time those juvenile colts run 10 furlongs (1 1/4 miles) since being foaled. Pedigree, track conditions, and past Derby-winning patterns are just a few of the things Doc uses to select the winner.

“Our 2006 Kentucky Derby page is loaded with useful betting information,” said Doc. “With some smart handicapping and a bit of luck we hope to show our customers some easy money with this year’s picks.”

Doc’s Sports has been in business since 1971 and it has established itself as one of the leaders in the sports information industry. Industry luminaries from Nevada to Costa Rica continue to praise Doc’s team for its hard work and strong moral fiber. Doc’s is best known for its Big Ten Game of the Year in college football which covered the point spread 19 years in a row and moved the Las Vegas line more than seven points at its peak.
