Tony Bennett and Mike Agassi join forces to raise funds for VegasTennis.com's Marty Hennessy Jr. Tennis Foundation.

"Mothers Day Weekend with Tony Bennett, Mike Agassi, Rita Rudner and friends" is presented by The RBC Capitol Markets Corp and being held at The Stirling Club inside Turnberry Place, May 12-14th.

Event creators Jeff Taylor and Jason Spacek are donating all proceeds to VegasTennis.com's Marty Hennessy Jr. Tennis Foundation (a nonprofit 501-(c)(3) organization), which established the Mike Agassi "NO QUIT" scholarship and tournament to help kids in need and inspire junior tennis in Nevada.

The Mike Agassi Clinic will take place Saturday May 13 at 9am. Immediately following the clinic, The Celebrity Pro/Am with Mr. Agassi, Tony Bennett, Rita Rudner and friends will be held from 11am-1pm , followed by an Oscar de la Renta Lunch and Fashion Show at 1 pm.

After a day of relaxing at the Striling Club spa and pool, a fundraising and tribute dinner for Tony Bennett in honor of the singer’s forthcoming 80th birthday this August 3,, 2006 The evening will include an exciting live auction with such items as a chance to be a Tennis Channel Open broadcaster for a day, auctioned off by Tennis Channel founder and President Steve Bellamy.

"What amazes me is that Tony, who is at the height of his career, would come across the country to help kids in need," said local tennis icon Marty Hennessy, whose foundation benefits from the fundraiser.

Tony Bennett participated in last year’s fundraising event as well, which raised over $200,000, and at that time commented, "I have met kings and queens, Presidents and dignitaries all over the world, but my favorite guy in the whole world is Marty Hennessy,"

Marty Hennessy and Ryan Wolfington founded VegasTennis.com and Marty Hennessy Junior Tennis Foundation to help kids with drive and talent who lacked the finances to pursue the sport.

"Tennis is a vehicle to help kids discover the principles of life, while giving them an opportunity to earn a college scholarship, " explained Wolfington who organizes the event and runs the foundation. "By playing tennis these kids are being productive and keeps them focused on a positive and healthy activity.”

On Sunday, Event Chair Jeff Taylor and Jason Spacek, have arranged for all Mother’s Day participants to enjoy "Breakfast at Tiffany's" at Bellagio's famed jewelry store, with brunch prepared by celebrity Chef Michael Mina. This was a prize the two successfully bid on last year at Andre Agassi's Grandslam for children, and now they are donating it back to raise more money for kids in Vegas.

Jeff Taylor and The RBC Capitol Markets Managing Director Jason Spacek put together this special weekend in Vegas inviting the banks top customers, while making a big difference for local kids. Additional event sponsors include The Stirling Club, The Las Vegas Hilton Tennis Resort, Northwestern Mutual's Steve Braun, The Tennis Channel, Inside Tennis Magazine, and Marriott.

"Jeff Taylor really got behind the event the last two years and made it a success. This year he has taken his support to a whole new level and there is nothing we can say to express our gratitude to him, Jason Spacek, Tony Bennett, Mr. Agassi, Rita Rudner, Helen and Chip Johnson and The Stirling Club. Without them we could not change kids lives," said Wolfington.
