The Secret World of, uh, Multiplication(?)
Teaming up with illustrators Michael Likens and Rudy Rodriguez, English teacher Eugenia Francis designed a circus-themed workbook that will delight children as they explore the secret world of multiplication.

As her son struggled to memorize the times tables, Francis sat across the kitchen table finding patterns for him to decode. The mysteries of the times tables unfolded as a daily exploration of “magic” never discussed in his third-grade class. Their fridge eventually was papered with patterns that made the times tables intriguing and her son’s discovery of the secrets exciting.
Ever the creative educator, Francis taught university English developing her own innovative materials. She had found literature analysis also reveals patterns and codes.
At the kitchen table, Francis found similarities with math. Why not group times tables based on distinct patterns for odd and even numbers rather than the traditional way? Why not a more creative approach? Thus was born "Teach Your Child the Multiplication Tables, Fun, Fast and Easy!" And Mom, the entrepreneur.
